3 Reasons To Attend A Stone Refinishing Training

One of the easiest things to do, as a professional working in the field of natural stone installation, repair and maintenance is to get all wrapped up in our work because we tend to work in rather isolated conditions. We are seen as the local experts on everything to do with natural stone products, like their restoration and their care.

The problem is that our passion often causes us to be very focused in on what we know, but leaves us few opportunities to get the stone refinishing training and education we need. Without this training we miss out on new techniques, alternative options and even on the new products that can make our lives much easier and our work much better.

The great news is that we offer specialized stone refinishing training for professionals that are new to the industry or for those that want to boost their current knowledge and skill level.

Our Classes

Our trainer, Stu Rosen, had the privilege of working with Maurizio Bertoli, the founder of our company. He is one of the most recognized leaders in the natural stone industry. Our classes were developed using Bertoli's passion for natural stone and his keen interest in providing education and not just "training".

Today, our stone refinishing training programs are very small in size, with no more than 10-12 people per class. They run four days from 9 am to 6 pm each day. During the training, you will spend time practicing what you learned with the same equipment that we use. Plus you will get to try out different products and techniques.

Highly interactive, with time for discussion, questions, and one-on-one support, you will leave the training feeling knowledgeable and more than capable in taking on basic stone restoration work as well as more advanced jobs and projects.

We hold regular training classes throughout the year, and we can accommodate for small company groups if you call in advance before the course start date. As these classes often fill up weeks in advance, it’s a good idea to discuss any specific training needs you may have over the phone or in person.

In addition to the training program or if you cannot attend in person, we have Maurizio Bertoli's Natural Stone Maintenance and Restoration Guide for sale. This book is a very well respected resource and a great source of information on all aspects of natural stone. It’s a must for all restoration professionals.
